Negative Marking Strategy: Data-Driven Approach
RAS प्रीलिम्स में गलत उत्तर पर 1/3 अंक काटे जाते हैं। सही strategy से score 10-15 अंक तक बढ़ सकता है।
गणित समझें
- सही उत्तर: +1 अंक
- गलत उत्तर: -0.33 अंक
- छोड़ा हुआ प्रश्न: 0 अंक
- Expected value of a guess with 4 options: 1×(1/4) + (-0.33)×(3/4) = 0.25 - 0.25 = 0 → Pure guess = worthless
कब attempt करें
- ✅ 100% sure: Always attempt
- ✅ 2 options eliminate हो जाएं: 50% chance → Expected value = +0.33 → Attempt
- ❌ Only 1 option eliminate हो: 33% chance → Borderline, better to skip
- ❌ कोई idea नहीं: Never attempt
Subject-wise Strategy
- Reasoning: High accuracy topic → attempt more
- Current Affairs: सही पढ़ा हो तो ही करें
- Science: Concept-based → eliminate and attempt
- History: Dates/years → be careful
Mock Test में Practice
हर mock test के बाद calculate करें: अगर आपने random guess नहीं किए होते तो score कितना होता? यह आपको discipline सिखाएगा।
